Fell Street

I’m looking for someone to share a recently renovated 1800 sq ft 3 br/2.5b flat in San Francisco, right in the middle of Lower Haight, Alamo Square, Hayes Valley and Divisadero. I’m currently using the third bedroom as an office and have no plans to rent out to additional roomies. Your bedroom is large with a window that faces into a lightwell, as well as a sizeable closet with double hang rods. The room easily fits a queen size bed, a dresser, bookshelf and nightstand. Your bathroom has a vanity, full bathtub with shower and is next to your bedroom.

The room is unfurnished in a fully furnished apartment. The flat is classic Victorian style with high ceilings and large wooden windows in each room and has been recently updated with new heating system and hardwood floors. The vacant bedroom is set towards the rear of the apartment, away from the street noise. The apartment has great views of the SF skyline and lots of sun, as well as a small balcony to have a morning coffee or dinner when it is warm. The yard is a double wide lot and shared with 4 other units, 2 of which have children.

We are the middle unit of a three unit apartment building. One shared guest bathroom (in addition to our own bathrooms) with a large sitting room in the front of the house and a family room in the back of the house that has a projector tv. There is wifi through out the house. The kitchen is big with tons of light and very user friendly with a dishwasher. New industrial washer/dryer in unit.

The flat is close to 21 and 22 bus lines and walking distance from Haight St. and Church & Market MUNI Station. 5-10 minute walk to downtown Hayes Valley. Very close to 101 entrance on Octavia street.

Utilities not included (water, garbage, pg &e, internet), this varies from $225-$350/month per person. We currently have cleaners come biweekly, $115 per visit, but open to discussing this cost.

I’m a young professional in my 30s, working as a lawyer in downtown SF. I have lived in the bay area since 2007 and still love exploring the city. I spend a lot of my weekends traveling so am likely to not be home for periods of time. I’m looking for a clean, respectful roommate to share a very lovely home with (everyone who walks into the flat always comments that they can’t believe this is in SF!). I love gardening so there are a number of plants around the house. I also love animals but don’t have any of my own, although I do dogsit every once in a while. I cook occasionally but we have a large kitchen and pantry which is underutilized. I’ll host the occasional dinner party or happy hour (which you’re also welcome to do as long as you let me know ahead of time) but generally prefer to leave the party outside of the house, especially in the evening.

My current roommate is moving to NY (😭) so I’m looking for a new roommate to share this super spacious and sunny home. Before we sign a rental agreement, you’ll need to provide the following:

• Previous rental history (for last 2 years, if possible)
• First months rent and last months rent (as a security deposit)
