All bills (internet, gas, electric) included! Furnished bedroom in a lovely, light-filled, 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom 3rd (top)-floor condo in Rogers Park. It’s a 4-minute walk from the Morse Redline and an 11-minute walk from the Rogers Park Metra station (and a 7-minute walk to the beach!).

I’m only a two-minute walk to Morse Market, a wonderful little grocery store that has pretty much everything you need—as well as a little coffee shop and lots of restaurants.

I have an in-unit washer/dryer, a small but sweet deck, a light-filled living/dining room, and an updated kitchen, all of which you’re welcome to use. I have two bedrooms. The smaller one is my bedroom–and the larger one, which serves as a guest bedroom/office, would be yours! It has a twin bed (with pull-out twin-size trundle as well) with a lovely memory foam gel mattress on both the bed and trundle (super-comfortable!), two windows with woven-wood shades, a large desk, bookcase, bench, and huge closet (although I do store bunch of stuff in this, there’s a little room to hang/store some clothing–and we can work on making more). From June-September, there’s a window a/c unit in that room (as well as one in my LR/DR and bedroom) that keeps the room nice and cool! In the winter, radiator heat keeps the place nice and toasty.

It’s just me and my sweet, quiet shih tzu. I’m a professional woman in my early 50s who works downtown 2-3 days a week and remotely the other 2-3. I’m also pursuing my MFA part-time. I spend my spare time walking my dog, volunteering, watching films, doing yoga, taking classes, writing, and visiting with friends and family. I’m pretty clean and quiet and would be looking for the same in a roommate.
