About the room
Hi, the home I am listing is a new (built in 2016) craftsman style home and is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a cozy, family friendly neighborhood. There are homes on both the left and right of the home with protected forest along the back. The home itself has four (4) bedrooms, three (3) full-size bathrooms, office space (which I utilize), 2-stories, and is approximately 2500 sf in size.
I have two (2) bedrooms I am looking to rent out. Both are partially furnished but can be emptied out if preferred, both are located upstairs, and both have a walk-in closet. Price per bedroom is based off single occupancy. If double occupancy, cost will elevate (due to added space/utility usage) and can be further negotiated. Both Bedrooms are listed at $850. When both rooms are occupied the bathroom space upstairs will be shared. There is a third [full] bathroom located downstairs for guest/visitor usage but can be available for anyone, anytime.
There is a fourth bedroom I would like to keep open for visitors (family, friends, etc.) to use, as necessary. Occasionally I may have family visit (one weekend every few months) but want to keep that space available for the renterโs visitor(s) as well.
The floorplan downstairs is open-concept; therefore, the kitchen/dining and living room run together. The kitchen has all new appliances (fridge, gas-range, microwave, and dishwasher) and the living room has a gas fireplace. Everything is already furnished and will be shared space.
If interested, we can set up a meet and greet. If we think we will be a good fit then we can schedule a tour and go from there.
About the roomies
A bit about me: I am a Civil Engineer by trait but work full-time (Monday โ Friday) in Seattle as a Quality Engineer for Sound Transit. I grew up in North Idaho but moved to the Seattle area nearly six (6) years ago. I am clean, organized, and very much laid back. I can be introverted and extroverted depending on my surroundings. I like to keep myself busy during the weekends, whether that is working on the house, attending concerts, going camping, traveling, hanging with friends, etc. During the week I generally like to come home and relax. Between the long commute and workday it is nice to detox.
When at home I enjoy a nice glass of scotch or rum with an occasional cigar on the back patio, watching television (sports, Netflix, etc.), or just laying back and reading a book (which I need to do more). I would consider myself easy to get along with. I genuinely care about other peopleโs well-being and can provide space or even make myself available. Itโs difficult to specify primary attributes about myself because I feel like Iโm an open book and am constantly growing as a person.
Overall, Iโm not just looking for roommates but am also looking to build friendships along the way.
