My roommate is moving out of our place in Hawthorne and I am looking for someone to move in ASAP!

It’s a luxury two-bedroom and two-bath, you would have your room and bathroom and private patio off your bedroom (you can see the Hollywood sign on good day, if you squint hard enough). We have a large kitchen, dishwasher, new appliances, central air and heat.

There also is a small gym in the building and underground parking all for $1290 + utilities (which usually are around $75 a month). The 125, 210, 710 and 10 bus are a 4 minute-walk away. Starbucks on the corner of Crenshaw and plenty of grocery stories going west down Rosecrans.

I am also open to negotiating rent if this is a little higher than your budget.

Looking for someone who is neat, has a steady job and is an overall decent person who has respect for others.

UPDATED: The building manager might want you to apply to be on the lease.

I am a journalist who works mostly from home. Outside of working, which I do a lot of, I go to yoga 4-5 times a week and hang out with my friends. I’m also a filmmaker and screenwriter.

I have one little cat, Twix, who mostly stays in my room and minds his business. lol
