My partner and I are looking to rent our second bedroom to a resposible, mature adult. We are open to renting to a college student who is academically serious. Visitors are fine, of course, but we do not want parties in our house.

Ammenities will include a private bedroom, private bathroom, wifi access, street parking, washer and dryer in garage, shared access to kitchen and common areas, 24/7 outdoor video survelance, shared access to organically grown produce from our garden, shared access to organically raised chicken eggs. We do not have cable TV so if our tenent would like that as an amenity, in their room, they will be resposible for installation and payment of that utility.

Our home is LGBTQIA+ friendly however the room is not really suitable for two so we are renting to individals only.

We do not mind renting to a person who smokes/vapes tobacco or cannabis as long as it does not occur indoors. We are also small animal and exotic pet freindly but please no dogs, cats, or birds. We have two older dogs of our own and think that’s plenty.

My partner and I are the nerdy type. We enjoy many hobbies, most of which are artistic or scientific in nature. We maintain a small farm out back and enjoy walking the dogs and taking bike rides. I make soap, candles, kombucha, crochet, and collect rare cacti species. My partner prefers gender neutral pronouns and they culture spirulina, paint in a Mesoamerican style, analyze light with a spectrometer, and disassemble electronics for art projects.
