Our home is a 1-year old 3 story house near DIA, Gaylord Rockies and the i-70. The town center is under a 5-minutes drive away and the golf course is just 5 minutes away on foot.

Our place has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a large front patio and smaller back patio on the 2nd floor where the living room, kitchen and dining area are. Our backyard overlooks the creek and was landscaped when we moved in although we have plans to put a concrete patio in next year.

We both work a lot and are quiet homebodies when not at work. Our cat is very friendly and our dog is obedience-trained but gets excitable when meeting new people and other dogs, so if you do have your own 4-legged friend, we do ask that they are all allowed to have a little meet & greet to ensure everyone gets along well.

We are a smoke-free household and thus ask that our roommate only smokes outside if anything. We’re looking for a roommate with a similar lifestyle as we are rather private people; no couples or kids as we have stressful jobs and just want a quiet respite to come home to. You’re more than welcome to have guests over within reason, we just ask that you give us a heads up if so and to be respectful of the house.

The room is fully furnished, with drawers underbed as well as a walk-in closet. The bathroom is similarly fully-furnished and offers a bathtub. As we are houseproud individuals, we ask that you clean your room and bathroom at least once every 2 weeks, or are happy to offer cleaning services at $45/time.

There is a laundry room on the same floor and you are welcome to use our iron, ironing board and steamer. We occupy the master bedroom with our own ensuite bathroom, but will be down the hall from your bedroom as all 3 bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. We absolutely do not mind if you cook or use any of our common living spaces, but we do ask for you to clean/tidy up after yourself. You will probably have the bathroom to yourself for now as we have another spare bedroom which we have not decided whether to rent out or not, but in the spirit of transparency, please do note that if we do rent that out or host our own guests in the spare bedroom, they will be sharing a bathroom with you - we will definitely give you advance notice if and when this is on our radar.

We do have cable TV and there is a TV we don’t use down on the ground floor which is equipped with cable access and a ROKU stick - if you don’t mind sharing the couch with our cat, you could watch plenty of shows or game on it even when the living room TV is in use, without having to splurge on buying your own TV.

Street parking is available all around the neighbourhood. We will include utilities in the $750 rent, but reserve the rights to change this after discussion with our roommate should consumption exceed reasonable expectations.

My husband and i are working professionals and we have a 2.5 year old dog and a cat who is almost 2 years old.

We are friendly but also somewhat introverted, we are grounded and have a very stable home life - no crazy parties, no drugs and rather conservative alcohol consumption if at all. We are not a religious household and are very open and accepting people.
