The home is located on Communications Hill in San Jose (near 87 and Capitol Expressway) in the Lancaster Gate Townhome complex. It’s located in central San Jose, conveniently between Westfield Oakridge Mall and The Plant shopping center (Curtner Ave.) with easy access to highway’s 87 and 85 and downtown San Jose. It’s located about 8 minutes south of downtown San Jose via 87 (when there’s no traffic). Communications Hill is known for having the long, giant staircase for people to exercise and for having safe, outdoor areas for outdoor recreation. Overall the townhome is 1,100 square feet and is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with a small back patio. The home is two stories but is three levels with the garage…the bedrooms and laundry are located on the second floor with a common living area on the first floor. Secure garage parking is available. The house is nicely decorated with a very homey feel to it. It is clean and not cluttered. I’m renting the guest bedroom in the home. It is unfurnished but has its own bathroom and a redesigned closet to maximize space. Rent is $1,350/month. That price which includes use of the washer and dryer, WiFi, TV/Cable hook-ups in your room, water, and electricity. The common area includes full kitchen, ½ bathroom, fireplace (electric), dining area, and living room.

I am the original owner of the home. I am a single male aged 49. I have a dog (Charlie) but he is housebroken and he is confined to my bedroom when I am not home and when he is not with me. I walk him 3-4 times a day so he is well cared for and not neglected. I work in downtown San Jose and, although I don’t travel much, my work schedule keeps me busy and I am often at work until late. When I’m not working I can usually be found at the gym or on the trail hiking. I live a pretty active and healthy lifestyle thus, I am not home very often.
