I am a 42 y/o female, homeowner. I’m seeking to rent my second spare room and bathroom to a professional, female (NO COUPLES). Potential roommate should be a non-smoker and drug free. I prefer those who are quiet/non-party type, but friendly. Also, person must be open to PETS in the home, as I have two older dogs and two kittens. I am currently not accepting pets.

Room Features: -Furniture: twin-size bed w/ foam mattress; nightstand, tv stand -Closet w/ shelves -Window -Ceiling fan -Shared bathroom (It is located in the hallway and will be shared with one other female roommate.)

Home Features: -Central A/C -Very hot water! -Free WIFI (Spectrum) -Utilities Included: electric, water, gas, garbage/recycling service -Kitchen use, as needed (you must provide your own, dishes/utensils, cookware etc) -Shaded, fenced backyard, patio and deck -Security camera outside

Area Features: -Near VIA Link stop -Walking distance to HEB, Walgreens, Restaurants, Planet Fitness -Library and City parks nearby -Easy access to I-35, Wurzbach Pkwy, 1604, I-410 -Only 3 miles from Forum Shopping center. IKEA -Near JBSA Ft. Sam Houston and Randolph AFB

Rental terms: Month-to-Month, 3-month or other. $500/month with $100 deposit . Must sign room rental agreement prior to move-in. An agreement is simply to make terms clear, up front, so that there is no confusion. I have no interest in “locking” someone into a lease. Available Feb 2020.

Landlord/Roommate 1: Female, Air Force Veteran, non-smoker, easy to get along with, technical professional. Roommate 2: Female, moving in March. Pets: two beagles, age 8 and 11. Both usually sleep most of the time and are friendly. Two cats who usually keep to themselves.
