$600 month, no lease is required. All bills paid including high speed internet and cable TV. Shared kitchen and washer/dryer.

This bedroom has a large closet and is furnished with a TV, queen bed, pillows, sheets, comforter, dresser and nightstands. It has a view of Galveston bay.

The home is located in the older section of La Porte on Galveston bay, near Sylvan Beach. It’s in a peaceful, safe neighborhood near boat ramp, bayside parks, walking trails and recreation center/gym.

Also located within 10 miles of UHCL, San Jac, Kemah boardwalk, Baytown and the intersection of Hwy 225 and Beltway 8 in Pasadena/Deer Park.

Currently the household consists of myself (female engineering consultant in late 50’s), and two individual long-term roommates - an early 50’s female college professor and a retired artist, male, late 60’s.

The house is very large and is laid out in such a way that each bedroom is secluded, no shared walls. This room shares a private hallway bathroom with only one other person. Overall, the household is usually pretty quiet, especially during the work week.

I’ve been renting spare rooms for over 12 years now and in the past my roommates have usually been individuals relocating to the area for work or here temporarily for a project. The room is available for either a short or long term stay.
