Price is what you can expect AFTER utilities (electricity, water, 1gbps symmetrical internet, etc.)

This place is a steal. It’s in a beautiful, gated complex surrounded by redwood trees and is right by the river, the living room ceilings are vaulted, the bedroom is large.

The living room can be left as is, with all the furniture and TV etc. This is so I don’t have to pay for storage fees, as I can’t bring much where I’m going. The deal is you enjoy it free and I get to reclaim it all once your lease is up for renewal in one year. (Or tell me you don’t want the furniture and I’ll store it, it’s your choice.)

You will sign a one-year lease with the leasing office. The cost will be around $850 before utilities per month for your half. The other half of rent is paid by my friend, who will be your roommate, in the other bedroom. This is formally arranged with the leasing office as two separate agreements, and he will be the primary lease holder. You get the master bedroom. Utilities have typically been no more than $200 per month per person, all inclusive (all utilities, including internet and electricity).

You will pay the apartment deposit of $200 to me directly, and the office will credit that amount to you (don’t ask me why they do it like this, I have no idea). Pets are allowed. You would pay an additional deposit and a small monthly fee to the leasing office directly to bring your pet.

You have the option of keeping my reserved parking spot, which is very close to the apartment, for another $55 per month, payable to the office as part of your lease.

You will get access to all of the amenities of the complex (pools, hot tub, small gym, tennis court).

Your roommate in the other bedroom will be Matthew, my friend and a very nice guy. Very easy to live with. He’s in his mid twenties.
