Hello! I have a quaint room up for rent in a really sweet cottage on the lower westside in Santa Cruz. A short walk to the beach or to the market for snacks!

I have two cats, so you’ll have to be ok with making new feline friends. Security deposit listed is totally negotiable. Rent is $1400 per month plus utilities (half of the SCMU trash, PG&E, and internet bills). Pet is negotiable - would need to be good with cats💓

The house is beautiful, clean, and has a new fridge and gas range stove/oven. There’s a new washer and dryer in the house as well. The room itself is quite small, but the location of the house and the openness of the living area makes up for it. There’s also extra space for locked storage outside in the shed (space for bikes and outdoor items). The backyard is very large and has ample space for gardening; it’s also completely fenced in and private from the surrounding houses. The bathroom would be shared with me and only has a shower, no tub :( Everything else about the space is wicked neat though!

I’m the only other human living on the property, along with my two cats. I’m a 25 year old girl who loves to garden and swoon over houseplants. I’m pretty quiet and super respectful. I like to keep the house neat and tidy and love finding new art to display. I work full time from home at a software startup and spend many of my weekends out adventuring. I’m searching for a roommate so I don’t have to give up my house, as it’s amazing and in a great location (my current roommate has to move out). I’m a great communicator and have never had issues with roommates before, so let’s live together, eh? :) please reach out if you’re interested and would like to see more pictures!
