I know what a hassle it is to find a great place to live. The most difficult thing to determine is what will the living situation be like? So lets start with the easy stuff and let me explain a bit about the physical rental; This well maintained turn of the century two story three bedroom Dutch Colonial is tucked in a quaint safe and peaceful area between lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet and within a shout of Lake of the Isles, and Cedar lake. Walk out the door to the bus line, hang out at the unique shops of linden hills, or stroll to downtown Edina to catch a movie. Your new neighborhood is clean, quite, and safe with easy access to major highways going north, south, east or west. This is no small 1400 square foot appartment where you may bump into your friendly, respectful, reasonably clean, educated and professionally employed elderly male landlord over and over again as you begin or end your day. There is plenty of space in the 2300 square foot living areto live your life in peace and happiness. It will seem like were strangers as we move independently through the large fully furnished family room, take a break reading books in the formal living room with 10 foot ceilings and a cozy wood burning fireplace. We can dine at the expansive eight person oak table in the formal dining room at a distance where we cannot even hear each other chew. The large kitchen will host dinner guests AND allow enough room for food prep AND a clean up crew (no dishwasher). The most inconvient aspect of the place is the bathroom, yep there is only one. :-( ……..BUT it is always clean, has a with large soaking tub, skylight and plenty of room to due your morning and evening rituals in comfort. Some of the best times in minnesota is spent outdoors and at your new house you will have all the opportunity to enjoy that blink of summer on the extra large deck. If the clouds come and the rain is beating down, no problem, just step into the knotty pine three season porch, its beautiful and a great place to hang out and socialize with that housemate you never see. There is laundry on site that will make getting prepared for the work week convenient. No need to worry about parking this winter since your amazing home comes complete with your very own off street parking spot, and if you desire a heated parking spot in the attached garage one is available for an additional charge. Open to male or females, single parents (small third bedroom available for dependent minor child at no extra cost) , and/or persons with a well behaved and VERY COOL pet. Must have references, employed full time, over 30 years old, responsible, reasonably clean, polite, and respectful of personal property are must have criteria s. On my best days I awake at 6-7am and am out the door for my morning exercise. I shower at 8:30 and work till 6-7 every weekday. I can cook, and clean, and like to read and relax at home watching tv or riding my bike. I am a social person, have friends. I am close to my family and find politics, philosophy, religion, relationships, history, science, and business good places to start a conversation.
