I’m looking for a roommate to join a year-long lease starting June 16, 2019 in a beautiful and spacious 4 Bed/2 Bath duplex apartment in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.

The Room: The room ($1300) is roughly 223 sq ft and is on the upper floor of the duplex. It comes with a spacious closet and two large terraces (one is roughly 406 sq ft and the other 309 sq ft). Monthly utilities usually come to roughly $20-30.

The Apartment: Has Private Elevator Access and is on the 6th/7th floors (top floor) with direct access to the roof deck. The apartment has a large living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony - so it gets tons of sunlight! The kitchen comes with a stainless steel fridge, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. Central heating/cooling throughout the year. Please note that living room furniture will be gone when my roommate moves out. I’m prepared to furnish the area, but if you have living room furniture, we can work something out.

The Building: Conveniently located 1 block from the 2 / 5 trains, and a 10-15 minute walk to the B / Q trains. The building is a short walk from Prospect Park and there are tons of grocery stores, CVS/DuaneReade, delis, cafes, and restaurants in the area.

About me: I’m a 27 year old architect (f). I’m very low key and like to keep a beautiful, clean, and peaceful space. I’m very respectful of personal space and I would prefer a quiet, non-smoking roommate (smoking on the balcony is cool though!).

You are: A professional (f) who can responsibly pay rent on time, is clean/tidy, and does not bring the party home. No chore charts of any sort - you just clean up right after you use the common spaces to keep the apartment in good shape. No couples please! You’d have to fill out an application with the management company, make 40x the rent, and have decent credit score. One month’s security deposit.
