Cedar Avenue

This is a 3-bedroom apartment, 1 bathroom in a building with 4 total apartments. The bedrooms are almost equal in size, beautiful old building with hardwood floors and lots of character.

If you’re not familiar with Highland Park, it’s a 13 min drive to RWJMS, a 20min walk to New Brunswick train station, and 5 min walk to a little main street that has a few coffee shops, restaurants, etc. I live in Boston area now, and before this lived in Brooklyn for 4 years – so I’m excited to have found a small, walk-able downtown close to the med school campus to trick me into thinking I still live in a hip city.

My name is Jessica and I’m an incoming MD/PhD student at RWJMS (which means yes…I’ll be in school for 7-8 years and I study a lot…). I also love to hike, run, cook, and read. I have 2 super cute cats.

Another MD/PhD student and I, named Nellie, have signed a lease for a 3-bedroom apartment in Highland Park at 326 Cedar Ave. Total rent is $2100 and we will most likely split it exactly 3-ways, or if one of the rooms if significantly smaller, that will be less. We really want to create a comfortable, welcoming, LGBTQ-friendly house where housemates communicate clearly and sometimes have dinner together.
