3br townhouse in Breckenridge, Colorado. 1.5 bath. Main bath shared with owner. Room is approx 14’ x 10’… Simple but nice and private. House and room have nice furnishings, all updated. Room has new memory foam mattress and is furnished. Have W/D, small fenced yard with ski area views from nice back deck with grill. On local bus route, on hiking/biking trails and easy walk to downtown Breck and Breck rec center. In a GREAT local neighborhood! 1 parking space available. Rent includes all utilities, DISH, wireless internet and use of W/D. You supply your own bedding/towels.

Retired law enforcement officer who is a single parent (mom) with 13 year old child. Now works for local school district.

Easy going and very acceptable of all races/religions/sexual preferences/political affiliations (although I will proudly add I supported Obama)… Differing opinions in my mind leads to interesting conversations!! Just looking for a roommate who is a good role model when around mychild, someone safe and friendly, honest and trustworthy.

Not interested in any partiers or heavy drinkers or anyone into illegal drugs (which in my ballfield includes marijuana- sorry!)

My place will not be a place to hang out with your friends or a place for them to “crash”. I would be renting the room to you, and you only. We can talk about having friends/family/significant other visit occasionally…

I might come off as sounding really strict and an ass…. But please understand I have a young child in my home and all of the above expectations will be the rule if you decide to live with us. But with that said, I am pretty laid back and enjoy taking crazy trips all over with my kid so you will have the place to yourself on many weekends and weeks during school breaks AND almost all summer. We go to Mexico for about 9 weeks every summer and sometimes 2 weeks over Christmas… Also love to bbq on the back deck and have good eats with friends.

Additional about us: we have 2 dogs and 1 indoor cat. One of the dogs is a 2yr old Great Dane and she is deaf. We use ASL to sign/communicate with her. She is 140lbs of lap dog. Both dogs and cat are very friendly. BUT if you dont like -even in the least- dogs or cats, please don’t respond. Our Dane is VERY sensitive to peoples facial expressions and mannerisms. I can’t have a roommate who dislikes dogs or is afraid of them. Guess what I am trying to say is you must be a dog lover and at least a cat liker!!
