About the room
A room is currently available until 8/15. Hamilton Home is a 4 bedroom house that has been providing housing for international students, interns, visiting professors, traveling nurses just about anyone in need of a temporary home since 1999. All you need is your suitcase! Along with a private bedroom, guests have fully use of furnished living area, fully equipped kitchen and back courtyard. If you are moving to San Diego, stay with us and explore this wonderful city before committing to a lease. Hamilton Home is conveniently located 1/2 block north of Adams Ave in University Heights. This area has limited rentals with mostly owner-occupied homes. Since this block ends in a canyon, there is limited foot and vehicle traffic resulting a quiet, peaceful neighborhood convenient to most all of San Diego. Downtown, the beach, Zoo, a park, Mission Valley, and much more are minutes away. Specialty restaurants, night time entertainment, 30th Street Craft Beer Corridor and a park are all within a ten minute walk. The bus stop is ½ block and a ride to SDSU or downtown takes about 15 minutes. We are the owners and live next door. About the roomies
I screen and interview all guests. My goal is to create and maintain a living environment that is comfortable and enjoyable to all guests, a place where one could meet a friend for life. Since Hamilton Home opened in 1999, we have had over 400 guests. Out of the 400 guests, there are 5 that would not be welcomed back. Many guests have returned, some several times. A few international travelers have returned on work visa and are in San Diego indefinitely. Currently, there are 2 guests, both male 30-35 living in Hamilton Home.
