Nishant's room
About the room
It’s closely located to I-5, I-405 and the Lynnwood light rail station. The room faces the back of the house so you will have the view of the backyard with lush trees, peace and quiet. It is walking distance from whole foods, and overlake hospital.
The room is a upper level room in a split level home with a private bathroom access. It can fit a queen bed. The previous housemate left his bed for anyone new to use. If not, we can get rid of it.
Utilities will be equally divided among all the housemates. There is no AC at the moment and I don’t plan on getting one, which keeps the utilities under 150 per person.
I would need proof of rental income, credit score and references from past housemates if possible. I will also need first month’s rent and security deposit to move-in.
I am expecting to find someone who doesn’t have a lot of stuff for the living room but there is plenty of storage in the garage. We have all the necessary kitchen items and anything you want to bring will only add to it, but if you don’t have anything to your name, that’s totally fine.
About the roomies
The house is currently occupied by me (37M), another person (32F) I work in tech while she works as a service dispatcher in an office not far from here and if I say so myself we are both kind and considerate housemates. I’ve been living with housemates for a while. I like to work out, garden, practice martial arts, hike, cook, check out restaurants, watch movies and read books. I like to think of myself as easy going and considerate, and would appreciate someone with the same qualities.
I do like to be friends with my housemates and seek camaraderie and openness, but I also enjoy my space. I hope to host low-key house parties, game nights, book readings and have a friendly environment for everyone sharing the space.
Cleanliness is important to me and I am looking for the same. It would be nice if you were into healthy eating but that is not a hard requirement. I envision the living room to have an abundance of plants and books and less of smartphones, TV etc. but I’m no martinet, so let’s keep that as a discussion for later.
The house has two cats and we are not open to any more pets. Sarah is the second housemate, she is a splendid person and we get along really well. She mostly stays out and about and work long hours therefore our only interactions are during weekends, but she enjoys interior decorating, pinball, photography and cooking.
