About the room
Looking for a female or enby roommate for a 2-bedroom apartment in Quincy, a less than 15-minute walk to the Quincy Adams MBTA station (red line).
Rent: $1150 (half of a total rent of $2300). Landlord pays for water, tenants pay for other utilities. Off-street parking included.
Roommate will be joining me in an apartment that I’ve lived in for about a year, with a new lease beginning July 1. Vacancy is due to my current roommate moving closer to family. Preferably you’d agree to the 12-month lease but I’d also consider a 6-month roommate term.
Looking forward to finding a good-fit roommate and together making this place feel like home!
You’re a fit if you: — are a working professional and/or graduate student — do not have any pets, per landlord (sorry to have to say no to furry friends!) — are a non-smoker — are a reliable, respectful, considerate person!
All rooms furnished with my furniture except your bedroom.
Apartment is newly renovated and has 2 bedrooms (one is all yours), each with a closet. Minimal storage space is available in the building’s basement, which is shared with two other units. Basement has coin-operated washer and dryer.
About the roomies
I’m a 30-something woman with a full-time job in the hospitality industry.
I’m an unabashed nerd, so if you’re hoping for a roommate to be your TV-viewing buddy for the latest sci-fi show, I’m your gal. This also means you’ll be entering an apartment already filled with books — but I’m happy to make some (re)decorating decisions together (for wall art and such) to make the place feel like home to both of us.
As an introvert, my evenings and weekends are definitely times I need to re-charge — I make for a friendly and sociable roommate while giving others their space and needing my own time and space too.
I keep a clean and tidy home but I certainly wouldn’t call myself a Monica Geller.
If interested, send a message telling me a bit about yourself!
