Pacific Street

Hi! I am moving back to Europe and will leave my room in this gorgeous Brooklyn 5-bedroom apartment starting April 1st 2019. You’d be living with three other roommates, one of whom is partly here (she also lives on the west coast).

Neighborhood The apartment is located in Crown Heights at the border of Bed-Stuy on the A,C Nostrand Stop – 25 mn away from Manhattan. You will be minutes away from Franklin ave with lots of bars and restaurants, or from Fulton Street and Atlantic Ave. On the Nostrand block you’ll find a dry cleaner, a laundromat, 2 grocery stores and a few take-away places (India House is banging, and you’re minutes away from David’s Brisket house). It is close to the Shuttle train taking you straight to Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum. You also have the B44-SBS taking you to Williamsburg in 20minutes. About the apartment: Located on the 5th floor it has tons of natural light and a gorgeous view of Manhattan skyline from the living room. Apart from a large and cozy living-room with charming wood work, it has a dining room in the entrance of the apartment, a large kitchen in the back, 1 ½ bathroom and 5 bedroom (only 4 are occupied, the last one is for guests). You will have the room at the end of the apartment making it very quiet, even when people decide to hang out in the living room. It is a smoking (cigs and 420) friendly apartment but since it is on the 5th floor, the apartment is aired sufficiently so you will barely smell it, if not at all (I quit smoking and the smell doesn’t bother me a bit). About the roommates: You would be living with Cristian, Estelle and Colleen. They are all in their early and late 30s and have been living in Crown Heights for quite some time. Cristian is usually working at night, Colleen has a 9-5 in fashion in Manhattan and Estelle is learning programming and is barely at the apartment since she lives partly in Portland, OR. They are all very friendly, and very respectful of one another. This apartment does roomie brunches on the weekend or a glass of wine in the evening to catch up with each other’s life but can also respect the need for each other’s “me-time”. About you: You will be in your 30s and have a consistent employment position. You will be outgoing and respectful of others and most importantly you don’t need to be told to clean the common spaces and do your dishes: it is a big apartment and everyone needs to partake in the chores. Technicalities:

1. The rent is $737.5 and need to be sent to Cristian on the 1st of each month via Zelle.
2. They are open to month to month sublets with the option to sign onto the lease should it turn out to be a good fit.
3. The apartment has a Jet Account for apartment stuff: it’s about $11/$15each every 4 months Colleen handles the bills which are of about $65 and due each month around the 1st as well.
