Hi! I’m a 38 year old with 2 well behaved daughters (9 & 11) looking to rent the small 3rd bedroom in my home. If all goes well, the place will be ready April 1. I think this could be a good listing for a UMBC student or a young professional just starting out. I am VERY clean and organized, no weird smells and I need you to be very clean with no funky smells. We have a cat, but I maintain a clean litterbox. I need someone safe who I can trust around my kids and who is a responsible adult. Must have a job and transportation (unless you’re a student and we can discuss that). No smoking, no drugs, no pets. Social drinking at the house is fine. Please don’t plan to have any big parties at the house unless we discuss all the details in advance and agree on expectations. You may have an overnight guest twice a week, but don’t plan to have your boo move in. (I hate that I have to spell this out but it’s a house share, not a private unit so be mindful) The house is a nice size, deck and yard, a living room and large club basement. You have access to all the common areas, the TV, the Firestick, the washer and dryer, and all the living areas. You are free to cook and keep your groceries in the shared spaces. Your bathroom and shower would be downstairs and your bedroom upstairs, so please note that. My daughters and I enjoy dancing, playing music, watching movies and hanging out in the kitchen eating snacks. Occasionally we leave for vacation and we need to be able to trust you to hold things down at home in a safe and responsible manner. I work from home so I’ll be in my home office all day during the week. Our internet is very fast and reliable. We want a roomie that will add positively to the vibe in our home, someone who has things going on in life and passions. Message me if you think you’re a good fit. 😊

In the other 2 bedrooms is my 2 kids and I. I work from home for an online public school doing academic placement. They are in school during the day, except in summers. The kids are intelligent and respectful and we try to keep an open and creative atmosphere.
