Monthly utilities are typically $40-60/month. You likely won’t find another space this nice, at this price point, in this neighborhood. Interested parties must be looking for a long-term sublet. Please note that this apartment is furnished.

ROOM: Room is generously sized (12x14), with hardwood floors and original moulding, lots of light, and street views. It will come unfurnished with large closets, and is big enough to comfortably fit a bed, desk, dresser, and additional pieces of furniture (possibly even a small couch). Read: huge - not just by New York standards.

APARTMENT: The apartment has shared living spaces including a furnished living room, and recently renovated kitchen with a DISHWASHER, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. It is situated in a prime location: a mere 2 minutes away from Grand Army Plaza - which means easy access to Prospect Park, Grand Army Plaza Farmer’s Market, Brooklyn Central Library, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and the Brooklyn Museum. Grocery stores, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants are located within a short walking distance. There’s on-site laundry (mgt recently installed new electronic pay washer/dryers!) and an off-site laundromat/dry cleaner nearby. Closest trains are 2/3 at Brooklyn Museum (5 min walk), 4/5 at Franklin Avenue, and B/Q at 7th Avenue.

YOU: Ideal roommate is a working professional in his/her mid to late 20s or 30s who is considerate, clean (v important), friendly, and pays bills on time (v v important). Please no couples, pets, or people with significant others who function as the 4th roommate.
