Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment, excellently located on E Madison St with easy access downtown and to Lake Washington parks.

Flexible with move in and move out dates, we have a room open from Feb 1- September 1 with option to extend.

About the house: lots of natural light, carpet, one bathroom, big wrap around porch, in unit washer/dryer, large kitchen, combined living room/ dining room. There is a lot of free street parking available, the neighborhood is typically quiet, and the landlord is friendly, communicative and approachable.

About us: We are two working womxn in our 20s with varying schedules. (I’ll be abroad for 5-8 months so we’re subletting my room). We value independence and also staying connected w/one another through house meals, evenings on the porch, sports events, and walks to Lake Washington (we are pretty social!). We have been living here for a few months now and absolutely love it. Whats worked for us is having weekly meetings about chores, communal space, and fun activities that we want to try and do.

Who we are looking for: a friendly, clean and respectful individual who will be respectful of housemates and communal spaces. Have a stable income/ability to reliably pay rent and bills. Preference to someone who has lived with other folx before and is willing to share space.
