Hey y’all, we have one bedroom available in a spacious three bedroom apartment located in the Laurel District off 580 at 35th Ave. Pictures shown are mostly from when the apartment was unfurnished and unoccupied. The first picture you see shows how one of the living rooms is currently furnished. Read below for more info about the apartment and the current tenants!

• PG&E and AT&T Fiber are extra and split between everyone

Accessibility:

• We are on the second floor and there is no elevator
• 2 blocks away from bus stop with lines that will take you to Fruitvale BART (54), dowtown Oakland (NL), and SF (NX/NL)
• 15-20 minute walk to casual carpool ($1 for a ride into SF)

This apartment is located on the second floor of a four-unit apartment building and includes a spacious patio, a large kitchen with a stove/oven and dishwasher, two living room areas, a washer and dryer, and a common bathroom. The room for rent is approximately 120 sq ft, unfurnished, and includes a large closet and parking space. The building is located right off 35th and MacArthur in Oakland’s Laurel District, a cute neighborhood that offers plenty of options for eating and casual shopping. There is a Farmer Joe’s grocery store within a few minutes walk, and there are two Safeways a short drive away. There are also multiple bus lines a couple blocks away with connections to Fruitvale Bart, downtown Oakland, and SF.

The apartment would be shared with two other tenants, Jeanine and Dylan, a couple who have occupied the apartment together for the past few years and rent the two other rooms. Jeanine works long, semi-conventional hours in the city five days a week. Dylan works in downtown Oakland throughout the week and weekend with a fluctuating schedule. We have a cat. We both enjoy a reasonably clean space and chill living atmosphere. We’re open-minded and would like to find someone we enjoy sharing this space with, but we are primarily looking for someone responsible, reasonably clean, reasonably open-minded, and chill. We are only looking for a single roommate at this time. The kitchen is stocked with quite a few appliances which would be more than open for communal use. Jeanine has also established a small garden in the back with a planter box on the deck. If you’re interested in that at all, gardening pals are welcome.
