I’m currently looking for a new roommate to move in for January 15th or February 1st. Must be DRAMA FREE, NO pets, drug-free, and non-smoking! I’d prefer someone over 30, I’m 32 and I want to live with an adult. I’m not a neat freak, but you need to be tidy. Everyone in the building is in their 30’s or older. Must have a decent steady job, pay rent on time, not into drugs or partying. LGBTQ friendly! Your sexual orientation doesn’t matter to me, and it shouldn’t matter to anyone else. I don’t care if you are male or female, but I only want one roommate. I don’t want to live with a couple.

The rent is $600 month-to-month and that includes everything, even wifi! Rent is due on the 1st of every month, but I mail out a check on the 15th of the prior month and that will not change. I don’t care if you pay me $600 all at once or $300 every two weeks as long as it gets paid on time. I will require $600 for you to move in though.

The apartment is located in North Providence, RI in a secure building just off the highway. There is coin-op laundry in the basement. $2 wash, $2 dry. The apartment is a good size and is pretty much furnished except for your room. Your room would be private but we would share common areas. Your room has a nice sized closet and even has a built-in air conditioner! You would have one assigned parking spot. If your friends come over they can either park behind you (blocking you in) or they can park across the street. During the winter our spaces get plowed and walkways get shoveled (It’s included in the rent). There is a small balcony off the living room.

About me: I’m 32 year old female. I’m a professional who works full time. I go to school online part time to finish my degree. I’m Pagan, have a boyfriend, and I currently work 3-11:30pm. I get home around midnight and I stay up late. I try to be quiet when I get home and I do keep the volume to a minimum. My current and previous roommates have never complained about the volume of my tv. I want to make my schedule clear up front in case that is a deal-breaker for anyone. I might switch to first shift sometime in the future but no promises. I keep to myself and I’ll be in my room 80% of the time. My boyfriend rarely comes over and doesn’t sleep here, but I’d give you a heads up in anyone was coming over. I’d appreciate the same courtesy.
