Bedroom and shared common space for rent in a quiet neighborhood, two-block walk to Mt. Tabor Park and half-mile walk to Montavilla Farmers Market, coffee shops, and restaurants.

Available by January 1st, possibly in late December.

Ideally, would rent bedroom furnished, but open to unfurnished. Bedroom measures 10ft x14ft with a queen bed, good sized closet, and Mt. Hood view.

1.5 bathrooms, you basically occupy the half-bath, there is a shared shower/bathtub in the full bathroom.

Preference of 3-month minimum, open to longer, open to possible month-to-month. $850 + utilities, which vary, but recently about $130 / person. $850 deposit

Other details: -central air conditioning -Washer and Dryer in house -Neighborhood is extremely walkable/bike friendly -plenty of free street parking -small storage area available (think boxes vs furniture) -small front porch -I do not have a TV (do stream on computer/phone) -multi-story townhouse style duplex, very nice landlords live on other side -bedrooms are upstairs, half-bath is downstairs on ground floor -kitchen appliances include Vitamix blender, Cuisinart food processor, KitchenAid mixer -no pets allowed per owners

Seeking a housemate who would match my approach: *communicative and mindful *keep commons spaces tidy / share occasional chores *light or non-drinker (no drugs or smoking on property) *have guests on occasion (just don’t want to feel like more than two people live here) *be COVID vaccinated with latest vaccine (or willing to be around time of move-in) *have good credit / background check *mostly work outside of the house, open to some work from home *be LGBTQ+ friendly

About me: -female who works a lot of hours and work from home 2-3 days / week. -Have made home a sanctuary space to relax, mostly socialize outside of the house, need a housemate with same approach. -In my spare time I walk on Mt. Tabor, hike with friends, listen to podcasts / audiobooks, go to gym and yoga and like to cook (but wish I did more).
