The apartment is in on the corner of Judson and Main in Evanston, on the third floor, large (1500 sq. ft.) with lots of sunlight, in a safe neighborhood (sandwiched between a church and a school), 5 min walk from Main stop and shuttle, and is just under 2 miles to Tech. Also a very walkable area with cafes and grocery stores. Street parking available as well as a waiting list for the lot ($90/mo). The room is 11x14 and has a private bathroom with a bathtub! My portion of the rent is $865 and utilities fluctuate but usually don’t exceed $50 a month (you only pay for gas, electric, and wifi–water and heat are included in rent). And pets are allowed! I’ll also be selling the furniture in my room and I’ll bundle it all together if you don’t have your own stuff.

I’m a grad student at Northwestern and I’m doing my summer internship in Washington state so I’m looking to sublet my room. Dates would be early to mid June till end of lease (August 26). I also have two awesome roommates (women, mid-20’s) you’d be sharing the space with (both grad students at NU). We’re all accountable and responsible and therefore don’t keep a chore schedule–we just take care of our own stuff and do the chores that need doing. For fun, we watch a lot of the same TV shows (succession being our favorite) and there’s usually something delicious on the stove or in the oven.
