Amanda's room

My roommate and I have a room available in our Garden Home apartment that we need filled by the end of March. The room is currently vacate so you would be able to move in sooner if needed. We’re right down the road from Trader Joes, less than 10 minutes from Washington Square, with lots of great parks and places to hangout nearby. The apartment has great lighting, a wood fireplace, and space for gardening in our back lounge area. We do not have A/C, sadly, but if you have a window unit the apartment does allow most of them!

Rent is $715, utilities run about $80-$100 every month… so $795-815 total depending on utility usage. There is a $300 security deposit and a background check as well (I believe that’s $45)

The room is about 11’ x 11’ with a decent sized closet, wall heating which keeps in cozy in these cold months! There’s an in-unit washer and dryer in the shared bathroom you and I would use. On site parking with a parking stall right across the driveway you’d have the chance to use.

Last but not least, what we’re looking for. - Preferably a female around our age.

• Someone who cleans up after themselves when they’re done using the common areas (we will leave a dish or two in the sink from time to time but it never stays longer than a day).
• We try to start our quiet hours around 10pm and don’t mind having people over either (as long as they’re respectful and don’t get rowdy)
• The community is a non smoking community so NO Smokers please.
• We are able to have another dog, potentially, but there is a pet deposit and they would have to meet Claire’s dog before we moved forward. No cats, sadly. Allergies.

I (Amanda) am in my late 20s, currently working a semi-full time job while working on my real estate license. In my spare time I love to snowboard, hike, camp/backpack, read, paddle board. Really anything outside. I try to stay busy but do go through those bouts of never leaving my cave. Our other roommate, Claire, is also in her 20s, working toward her degree in psychology. She has a boyfriend and an adorable pup that come to visit from time to time. She works from home for the most part but her office is in her room so use of the common areas is still available throughout the day! In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with her pup and boyfriend on his farm (sometimes we get fresh veggies in the summer!)
