Located in the Ives Estates / North Miami Beach area, this unit is in a safe neighborhood and in a gated community. The complex has two swimming pools. It’s 20 minutes to downtown Ft. Lauderdale, and 30 minutes to downtown Miami, so you can easily do all the fun things in both cities! And it’s only 15 minutes to the beach!

The unit is on the ground floor, has a private entrance, a screened-in porch, free in-unit washer & dryer, and a newly remodeled kitchen. The living room is fully furnished, and the kitchen will have everything you need!

There are 3 bedrooms. Your bedroom will have a queen size bed (including bedding), two nightstands, a standing room lamp, a table lamp, and a closet. There’s also a closet with shelves in the room. You’ll have your own bathroom.

We’ll split utilities and internet. The 3rd bedroom is small, so we can share it to store some things, and as a guest room. I included photos that show the layout of the place.

You’ll have to fill out an application for the HOA - they charge a $100 admin fee.

You’ll also have to do a background and credit check ($30). Must have no violent or drug-related criminal record. Will need 1st, last, and security deposit to move in. So total of $3300. Rent is due on the 1st. $50 late fee if not received by the 5th.

I’m 39, female, single, and moved to Florida about 6 months ago from Wisconsin. I’m very clean, quiet, and respectful. I work from home, and I don’t mind if you work from home too, as long as you’re not super loud.

I love art projects, wine nights, acroyoga, hooping, dancing, reading, going to fests, being outside, food, exploring new places, learning new things, chatting, shopping, art galleries/fairs, and house music.

I’m looking for a longer-term roommate who is CLEAN, respectful, healthy, a non-smoker, and financially responsible.

I’m looking to share a home, not just fill a room, so I’m not interested in having a roommate who stays in their room ALL the time. I’d like a roommate who can be social and friendly, but also respectful of private time and personal space. I like home to be a comfortable place. Having friends and visiting guests over occasionally is totally cool, but parties and having your significant other stay over constantly is not.

Peace, coziness, openness, respect, good communication, thoughtfulness, a quiet environment (or good music!), a genuine desire to be good to each other as roommates, and a willingness to do our part to help out, are all things I bring to the environment and things I desire in return.

I have two older maltipoos (10lbs each), so above all, I need a roommate who LOVES dogs. Like you genuinely love them, and will let them hang with you, or let them out if I’m not home. One of them will want to be your best friend and snuggle with you all the time (the other one is 16, so she mostly sleeps). They’re both super chill, don’t shed at all, completely hypoallergenic, clean, and aren’t yappy. The HOA only allows two pets, so no more pets allowed.

Finally, the lease can be do month-to-month. Ideally I’d like to find a roommate who I vibe with, and who’d be open to finding a home or townhome together, in the future in N Miami Beach or Ft Lauderdale, or somewhere in between.
