Room is in a 2B/2B apartment on the border of North Hills and Northridge, by Balboa and Roscoe. The whole apartment has hard floors. The windows and balcony are all north facing, and overlook the pool. There is a lot of indirect light, which keeps the place bright but not too hot in the summer. The area around the pool is nicely landscaped - the windows are covered by trees, which birds visit. The apartment is on the second floor, close to the elevator. It is next to the laundry room, which has good washers and dryers that are cheap. The apartment complex has two pools, multiple BBQs, a small playground, a fitness room, and a sauna. There are a lot of restaurants and gyms close enough to walk to, with a Target and supermarket just half a mile away.

The living room and dining room are furnished, but could accommodate some more furniture if you have some. My current housemate will be taking the TV from the living room.

The master bedroom is large: 11’ 1“ x 15’4“, plus a large walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a single sink with double countertop space and lots of storage and a shower. The view out of the north facing window is quite nice.

You will be living with me and my cat. I’m a 42 year old trans guy who grew up locally in Topanga Canyon. I work with disabled children, and am really into nature. I like living in a clean space, but I’m not bothered by untidiness. My cat’s name is Mjölnir. He also answers to MeowMeow, and he’s an awesome little dude. I mostly keep to myself and am quiet - I spend most of my free time writing, reading, watching Netflix, playing guitar and baking. I have some food allergies I’ll need to discuss with you.

I am looking for a responsible, mature, LBGT-chill individual whose cleanliness is compatible with mine and meets my cat’s approval. I am open to living with another animal provided they get along with Mjölnir.

Rent $1350 monthly, utilities not included. The leasing company requires that your monthly income is 2.5x your portion of the rent and have good credit.
