About the room

The house is a mountain cabin updated to four-season standards. The house includes two full bathrooms, sitting room, art studio, dining room, kitchen, mud/laundry room, and three season porch. Overall decor of the house is eclectic and designed to be lived in, what I like to call โ€˜backwoods boujeeโ€™.

There are two rooms available for rent, both located on the second story with a view upslope. One room inclues two closets and the other one closet, a built in dresser, and crawl space, additional storage is available if needed. Weโ€™re currently in the process of renovating the house and photos will be uploaded in the next several months. Our intent is to start out renting one room before deciding to rent the second but we are open to discussion on that.

The property is located at the end of a quiet road and is surrounded by forests affording privacy to enjoy the outdoors. Convenient access to the Princeton Land Trust trail system two lots down the road. Mount Wachusett State Reservation and Wachusett Ski Area less than a 10 minute drive. This is a great area for lovers of the outdoors to live!

20 minute drive to Leominster & Fitchburg; 25 minutes to Worcester.

About the roomies

We are a queer couple seeking roomates. Matt works in the environmental field, predominantly with plants. Because of his work, Matt has a tendency of taking the outdoors in with him during the summer. Nick is a Ph.D. student studying art history of architecture and predominantly works from home. We love the outdoors, hiking, biking, canoeing, and camping.

We are a very environmentally conscious low-waste household - we grow our own veggies and raise meat rabbits.
