The room is the larger bedroom in the unit. It is one of the 2 bedrooms. I am in the other bedroom. I have a kitchen, bathroom, living room/dining area as well. The room has an open closet in it, an AC under the 2 windows in the room. This room is not furnished. The unit is on the first floor within a private house. The area is a good area. There is a 5 minute walk to the 2 train or a 15 minute walk to the 5 train, and we are near buses Bx21, 22, 39 & BxM10. Close to many stores (easily accessible), 24 hour laundromat service location, gas stations and more. I have rented to 4 people before. In experience, the bathroom and kitchen were typically the shared spaces. The living room is as well but it’s also where I do my work when I’m home. The 4 people previously were all okay with being to themselves in the room which is fine. If you like being to yourself, this is perfect for that.

I am the only one living in my apartment right now. So it would only be me and you in my unit. I have a loving and friendly female French bulldog that stays at home who is house trained since I am usually at work. She is a small dog. My dog is very playful and gets excited at times. She is not an aggressive dog but she is a protective dog, so if she senses any aggression from humans, pets, or just anyone in general, she gets fiesty. The household is usually quiet. There are people who live on the 2nd floor above my unit, and people who live below my unit in the basement. These are people I know who are family and also people I have known most of my life. This household has been a drug free place for a long time. No one here smokes cigarettes or weed. Certain smells make me nauseous. I am willing to tolerate weed smoking ONLY if you do it in the room with the door closed, the window open, and a towel or something covering the bottom of the door to stop the smell from going through the door. There is absolutely no cigarette smoking allowed in the house. If you want to smoke cigarettes then you’d have to go outside. This is a very peaceful and pleasant setting and the household wants to keep it that way. We need to be considerate of everyone, especially noise wise and smell wise. Since we do live in a house that was originally built in the 1920s, there isn’t much insulation in the floors and walls, so everything can be heard, be mindful of that. Stealing and blatant disrespect will have you out the door fast. Nothing ever goes or has gone missing in the house or in my apartment at all. Never use anything *Personal of mines. The only items that should be commonly used and equally contributed to is toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, cleaning products, garbage bags, cleaning sponges/rags. If you do not have dishes or cookware, let me know. If you need help with something, please ask and I will help if I can. I know where everything is in my apartment and I check everything regularly. I have different layers of security as well. Not just anyone can come into my house. With all the roommates I’ve had there was never any visitors, so no visitors are allowed. Whenever anyone comes over it’s my family or my partner, and that’s barely. Everyone is respectful and mindful especially when I have a roommate. So nothing to worry about there. None of my previous roommates were problematic and I plan on keeping it that way. If you are not financially stable and not able to pay the rent on time, this place is not for you. I do not accept drama, unnecessary loudness, or crazy behavior. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, there maybe more things I haven’t said but can’t think of at the moment. I am very honest, nice, and respectful, but I am far from niave or a pushover. I am firm, responsible and do not play games, and I am fair.
