Kim & Nick's room

Furnished 13 x 11 ft private room upstairs with a tall 12 foot ceiling and a great built in furniture piece with its own hanger space, storage area, drawers, headboard, and by it cubbies, an outlet, and switch for overhead reading lights (means no need for nightstands). There’s also a separate sliding mirror closet with hanger poles, shelves, and cubbies. Room has a huge window with a custom rolling shade and surrounding curtains.

Also includes the newly renovated private bathroom with a rainfall shower head and vanity (both new). Furnishings includes mattress + box spring + bedframe, pillows if needed, built in piece mentioned above (see pictures), bookshelf, lamps, chair, and a folding table. Free fast internet too with router nearby. We have a maid service clean the common areas and guest bathroom every 2 weeks that is also included.

We have three living rooms (two with TVs and one without that has lots of windows and a fireplace), a kitchen dining area, another dining room (that doubles as a game room with a pool table), a laundry room, and a large kitchen with filtered water, two ovens, microwave, dishwasher, large shared refrigerator with an ice maker, and lots of cabinets. We have a nice patio with a small firepit and a pool. There’s also a large and small garage that have been turned into a ping-pong game area and a gym with climate control (so far we have a rowing machine, pull-up bar, mats, and a few free weights). This house is on a corner lot, so there’s plenty of easy parking in front of and to the side of the house.

Quiet, safe neighborhood and a short drive to 75 and George Bush highway to get around the Dallas area, and also a short trip to the Spring Creek Nature area.

No indoor smokers or pets, and only one person please, no couples or families renting a room together. Cost of all utilities (electric, water, gas, trash, pest control, etc) is $100 to $150.

Working couple in early 30’s with no kids except for two friendly cats. One of us works in bank management and the other is an electrical engineer. We keep to ourselves, but we go to concerts and play board games and wouldn’t mind company if you have similar interests. There are two other young professionals renting as well; they’re both friendly and respectful too. All bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house from each other, so there’s plenty of privacy.
