You’ll have a furnished bedroom with twin beds. One has a tempur-pedic ergonomic mattress and the other is a firm mattress. You have the option of removing one of the beds to make room for a personal desk, etc. The room is located in a 3200 sq. ft. home which sits on one acre in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It has a large patio and a deck where you can watch the birds and the beautiful sunsets. You’ll have a shared bathroom with one other roommate. All visitors to the home will use this bathroom. We’re very clean owners. You’ll have kitchen privileges, use of the laundry room and den with smart tv., free Wi-Fi and internet available and all utilities paid. Plenty of parking, but not covered.
Permanent residents are the owner/landlord and her ex-husband) who share one bedroom and two friendly small dogs: Ex-husband (76) is wheelchair bound and an ex-civil engineer and surveyor, I am the young (71) yr old landlord who runs the house. I’m a retired science teacher/homemaker/caregiver. etc. We have a hired caregiver who comes everyday for 6hrs + from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. to care for my ex-husband. I love to cook! Quiet time is between 2 and 5 p.m. and after 11 p.m. daily except special occasions.
Everyone is friendly, kind and respectful. We all expect the same from each other. I’d prefer to rent long term to a stable, professional, and mature adult who may be retired or working, and will only consider shorter terms for traveling nurses and/or vetted graduate students. All new roomies will have to agree to filling out an application that checks references, have a face to face meeting prior to rental, and a background check. No drama, please!
