We are looking for a responsible, considerate female roommate, and not a smoker or partying type, to live in the home of our elderly mother, who has just lost her husband. Except for the guest rooms, you would have the downstairs to yourself–master bedroom, bath, tiny kitchenette, washer-dryer–plus access to the full kitchen upstairs. The rent would be quite minimal ($100/mo) in exchange for being there overnight for our peace of mind should she need assistance. During the day, between 8am and 8pm, 7 days per week, we have a caregiver with our mom. We would ask that if you were going to occasionally be away overnight or for a weekend, you would let us know so that one of us could sleep at our mom’s while you were gone. We will be very selective about choosing this roommate (background & credit checks, references), so serious inquiries only!
