Hello!

My name is Liz, I’m looking for someone to sublet my room to. It’s a lovely unfurnished room in a quiet yet entertaining neighborhood in Ridgewood. It’s 5 min walk from Dekalb stop on L line and it’s also a 10 min walk from the M. We have nice cool bars all around to hang out but they are not under our windows.

The aptis on the first floor. It has a backyard with a little garden. I’ve planted some herbs there. I’m also leaving my barbecue behind so if you’re in a mood for some grilling and entertaining, you have everything there.

The apartment is two floors. Downstairs, there is a rehearsal room where we’ve practiced (if you want to inspect our music first, feel free ;) ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVaRWHFqJh8) but we make sure to do it in convenient hours for everyone. There is also an extra half bathroom downstairs.

You’d be living with two guys : Martin and James (and Anoushka the cat). They are brothers and have been my friends and bandmates for 8 years. They are chill and easy-going people looking for someone with the same profile, as well as clean and responsible in matters of bill paying.

The room is narrow but comfortable. I fit a twin bed that I can extend in a king’s bed if needed (I got it at Ikea, it’s pretty perfect and has built-in drawers for extra storage). I also had a desk and shelves. It has really nice light and direct access to the backyard which I’ve loved having for my morning yoga.

Laundrymat a block away and tiny laundry machine in basement which can clean a few clothes at a time.

To move in, you need some proof of income (35K yearly min) (proof of income : contract, 3 last pay stubs or bank statements) + first and security = $1780 total. We’ll prorate the first rent if you move in before Oct 1st.
