We are looking to rent out a room in our Clinton Hill apartment. We are: a 12 year old who’s temperament is very chill and laid back, calm and quiet and spends time on his computer when he isn’t in school, an ER nurse, and a university sound guy. One is an early morning person, the other is a late night person.

The room: 8.5’x12.5’ includes, hard wood floors, closet, and large window with window sill. AC available for room (may require additional charge if electric bill becomes markedly increased - hasn’t been a problem so far). There’s a fully furnished kitchen complete w dishwasher, toaster, microwave and the obvious stove, oven, and fridge. There’s bike storage and laundry room in the basemen. Unit is located in the back of a quiet building on a tree-lined street in a lovely 4 story building. conveniently located and transportations is everywhere if you see on the map. You can get to Union Square in 20 minutes or so depending on the time of day, and its a very walkable/bikable neighborhood with shops on Decalb Ave and a grocery store around the corner (not to mention other food things, coffeeshops, etc). We are 1 block from Pratt, same block as Clinton Washington G train, 3 blocks from C train and B 26 on Fulton, 1/2 block to B52 and B38, 12 minute walk to Atlantic Center LIRR, 2,3,4,5,Q, N, R, D trains and Mall, 10 minute walk to Fort Greene park and farmers market both there and 1 block away on Tuesdays.

Space works well for students. Seeking clean, respectful, non-smoker please. Must be a person who pays rent on time. Sorry, no pets. The rent is $1100 Utilities and Wifi are included.

see above about us. The building has 12 units, half occupied with families with kids who all get along. It has been home mostly to Pratt students in the past, some of whom have settled here within the 6 buildings that surround the back courtyard. Respectful, quiet, friendly neighbors.
