I taught high school and college art and theater design for 10 years in the Chicago area. I then moved to New York City to pursue a new career in professional theater. I did numerous Off Broadway shows and summer stock seasons in the 70s and 80s. I designed scenery, costumes and lighting. I was a sewer in the early 70s for multiple Broadway productions. I was a personal dresser for Jerry Orbach on a touring production in Florida. I also designed and produced special events and fundraising events through the 90s. I decided it was time to “slow down” and work at a regular permanent job. I joined a mid-sized real estate management firm – working for a property manager of 8 NYC buildings. I retired and worked part time distributing listening devices to the hearing impaired at Broadway theaters. I continued doing this until 2011 when I moved to Florida. I’m “retired” and work part time in Daytona Beach, FL. I enjoy the many museums near me and often attend concerts, recitals and lectures on the near by campuses. I enjoy cooking but don’t do much of it anymore! I dabble at crafting fused glass (small earrings and night lights).
