Looking for a roommate to share a 6-month lease, with option to extend, starting January 1, 2023.

Your rent: about $1,300 (utilities included) + wifi Security deposit of $1,000

The place: This 2bed2bath place is half of a duplex-style house located in the Beacon Hill area- Georgetown and its shops and restaurants are just a short 10 minute walk away. You will be getting the 12x10 primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. There is a large full kitchen (no dishwasher, must be okay washing dishes by hand), spacious living room, bright mudroom, and enclosed front patio. Washer and dryer in unit. Landlord is friendly and lives nextdoor. Current roommate moves out at the end of December. Photo of available room has their furniture in it, which will be gone come January.

Looking for: I’m hoping to room with someone who is cleanly, open with their communication, LGBTIA+ friendly, and responsible. No smokers. You must like dogs. Ideally, you would be in your mid-20s to mid-30s, and are looking to be friendly with your roommate/down for the occasional evening hang.

I am a professional in the arts industry. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, visiting cafes, taking walks with my dog, and movie/game night. I come with a well-trained 4-year-old pup who loves tug and cozy fires.
