Neighborhood: The Thousand Oaks neighborhood is safe and quiet and walking distance to: groceries and shops on Solano Ave, many Berkeley hills paths for running and walks, bouldering at Indian Rock and the upcoming climbing gym on Solano. Area has free on-street parking, nearby bus routes, and El Cerrito BART is a 15 minute walk or bus ride away. For Cal people - the address is eligible for UC Berkeley student parking permits and the bike ride commute takes about 15 minutes and is mostly flat.

We are a mix of 4 women, in our 30s and 40s, working professionals and graduate students, with active and independent lives. L is a PhD student at Cal in the natural sciences and former middle school teacher who likes to garden, hike, beach comb, cook, and dance tango. S is an occupational therapist and enjoys biking, going to the nearby Kensington farmer’s market, and cooking. N is a working professional who enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and reading. C is a student at Cal finishing her degree who enjoys running and meeting up with friends and family.
