I have a room available in my 2B/2Ba in Russian Hill. The room faces the courtyard and is the quietest in the apartment, measuring 12’ by 12’ with the bay window. You’ll have a private bathroom in the hall, around the corner so it feels separate from the living area.

The building is well maintained and the apartment has modern bathrooms and kitchen. The living room has windows on two sides with one facing south, so it gets a ton of light.

The area is great. No matter which direction you head, there’s good food and views all around. Convenient public transit is a block away on Van Ness.

I’m a mid-30s gay man, originally from Chicagoland.

I work remotely as a software engineer, with my desk nestled in one of the bay windows in the living area. Most of my few meetings are late morning to early afternoon. I’m usually wrapping up my day between 5:30 and 6:30 pm, and I tuck my chair into my desk and stay away from it at night.

I have an acoustic piano in my room which I haven’t been playing much recently. If I do play and you need it to be quiet, let me know, and I can stop and maybe come back to it later.

One of my hobbies is playing board games, so I may host a board game day on occasion, as well as a limited number of other social engagements.

Sometimes I like to listen to an album on my speakers, but often I just like it quiet. There’s no TV because I find it too distracting, but I’d consider getting a projector if there’s interest.

I’m clean, respectful, and looking for the same.
