Summit Avenue

We are looking for a new roommate to join our lease at the beginning of February. We have one side of a duplex on a safe, residential street in Hagerstown. There are two and a half bathrooms and four bedrooms though we do use the third floor master as a shared dressing space and guest room. The bedroom available is on the second floor, has a closet, and a shared bathroom on the same level. On the main level is the shared kitchen, dining area, and living room. The basement has a half bathroom and a washer and dryer. There is a spacious fenced in yard with a small deck as well as a patio space. The entire place is furnished except the available bedroom, though we do have some furniture if you would like help furnishing the space.

We have been living together for three years and moved into this space a year ago. We love our home and are excited to bring someone new into our place. We have a low-key lifestyle as we both work full-time during the week. Zoe works with children that have special needs and Chel is an elementary school lunch lady. We do like to host dinner parties most weekends but we aren’t rowdy or anything. We currently have a pet snake who’s tank is in the dining room. We would prefer not to bring any un-caged animals into the house but cats are up for discussion. We split all utilities evenly as well as groceries since we often cook our meals together but if you prefer to manage your own groceries that can be arranged.
