A customizable (You may hang art and add shelves, furniture, and/or hooks or whatever up to dime sized holes without repercussions ) 11x9 room with a big window on the east side of the house, that can hold a twin xl to a queen bed, though a twin will give you more than one wall option, a large customizable closet with great lighting, black out blinds, shared full bath (plus secondary bathroom access) stationary bike and weights, laundry, kitchen, with most of a fridge just for your things! A dishwasher! The use of all cookware, and storage for your own sundries and supplies, only rule being if you break it, replace it! Shared living room, with multiple seating areas, roku tv with a ton of channels, a decent yard (a work in progress) with covered patio area and seating, (soon to have covered screened room, and extra space in garage for storage. We run a/c in the summer and don’t go over 78, but keep it pretty cool in winter so be cool with bundling up), and of course, the love and adoration of our attention seeking Bork Bork twin unrelated tabbies (9 and 2). And occasionally foster kittens and odd animals.

We allow day time guests for the most part and an overnight guest with preapproved permission. Just ask first most of the time. Because If it messes with Parking we have to know.

We are a married couple of weirdos, geeky, gamer, artistic (animator/illustrator), nature and animal lovers, 49 and almost 40. We are neat, pretty tidy (pet hair doesn’t count! But we do mop and vacuum, even baseboards! Just not every day), organized (everything supposedly has a home), and relatively quiet, although sometimes the volume goes to 11. We sleep with night noise, mostly rain and thunder sounds because we don’t close our bedroom all the way for the cats we have. We are easygoing, communicative, and friendly. We are also vaccinated, for Covid and flu, wear masks and use hand sanitizer, and generally don’t wear shoes in the house without the aid of Lysol.

You are preferably female. (We’ve had better luck in the past with female roommates and don’t want drama) On the neat side. You don’t like a messy kitchen, though a full sink for a day is ok, and want a clean bathroom. You are conscientious, a thoughtful kind of person.

Do you attend a nearby campus? (We are blocks from a PCC campus) Have a small car? (Parking in front of house or alternating in guest parking with our placard) A motorcycle or bike (you can house in garage) or rely on public transportation which we are close to? (The Beaverton central trimet MAX station and bus routes)

You are drug free. Exceptions for tobacco or alcohol. The wife smokes, we both drink.

Do you love animals but either don’t have any or own one that lives in a tank or cage exclusively? Fish, birds and rodents are fine providing you clean cage or tank often to avoid unpleasant odors. All reptiles and amphibians welcome. Tarantulas stay in your room. 0.o
