High rise apartment 5 minutes from Old Town Alexandria and 0.6 mi away from Huntington Metro Yellow Line. The complex provides a free shuttle to the metro. Rent price includes base rent and with utilities + parking + wifi the monthly costs range $1,200-$1,300. 3 on-site gyms, shared laundry in the building and 2 nearby laundromats. The complex has several community events throughout the month. The unit has a huge living room, full size kitchen & balcony. Some of the furniture will be leaving with the current roommate, so we will have a clean slate. You’ll have your own full bathroom located in the hallway with a tub. The building has a package room, Amazon locker, community event space with pool tables, & convenience store. There are 3 pools on the property. A/C is self-controlled in the room and the complex parking lot is huge and there are never problems finding parking. If you have guests over past midnight, they will have to pay $3 at the kiosk for a parking pass. Maintenance is great here and they are usually here the next day to fulfill requests. As for the bed frame in the living room, it could be yours if you want it or it could be thrown in the trash. this is a lease takeover, not a sublease. So, that means both of our names would go on the lease to finish it out through September 2023

I’m a government contractor and recently moved to the apartment. My current roommate is unfortunately leaving to live with a significant other, aiming for 11/1/22. So, I will be looking for a new roommate to take the 2nd bedroom & bathroom. Ideally, I need someone who really cares about cleanliness. If you like to leave food on the stove & dishes in the sink for days, I’m probably not the roommate for you. I’m a super friendly person and I would like to have a friendly relationship with my new roomie, but I also am okay if you like your “you” time and keep to yourself. I like to workout, cook, and try new places in town like restaurants and paint & sips! As for guests, I’m okay with that as long as we communicate about it.
