Megan's room

The room is approximately 10 feet x 12 feet with a large window that faces the West and the season-subjected trees outside; the sun is lovely through there. It has its own closet. The apartment is just a two-bedroom so you’d only have to worry about one roommate: myself. We’d be sharing a bathroom, kitchen, and living area. I have a television, receiver, great speakers, high-speed Internet, and a record player. There’s a little porch out back where you can sit and have coffee. No AC, but there are wall heaters for the winter that work well. I have all the kitchen gadgets you could need, and you are welcome to use them. I also have a whole collection of books that you are welcome to borrow and read, as well as a fair number of video games. The complex is located in the heart of Garden Home, close to Multnomah Village—and very close to parks, coffee shops, food, grocery stores (right across the street from Trader Joe’s!), Washington Square mall (5 minutes away), thrift shops, the library (also right across the street), gas stations, and dispensaries (if you’re in to that). It’s about a 7-minute drive to I-5, a 7-minute drive to 217, a 15-minute drive to downtown Portland, but is also just about 10 minutes to downtown Beaverton and downtown Tigard. There’s an on-site laundry room, but otherwise not a ton of complex-based amenities. Street parking can be a hassle, but it’s there.
I keep a tidy home and would hope for my roommate to do so as well. I’d rather avoid having dogs in the apartment for several reasons, but cats are generally welcome.
The rental agreement doesn’t allow for smoking of any kind inside the apartments, but you are able to do so outside, at a distance. The room is pictured here, but it currently has all my art nonsense and extra furniture in it. All of that will be gone, so the room will be unfurnished and empty for you.

I am a 30-year-old designer working in the greater metro area. I am incredibly clean and organized. I don’t smoke and don’t have pets. I like reading, video games, sewing, cooking, and painting. I will generally be gone on the weekends and some times half of the weeks so often enough you will get the place to yourself. I will only have my partner or a friend or two over on occasion and otherwise will just be there alone.
