The scoop: My roomie and I are looking for someone to sublet my room while I’m away for work for the next several months (through the end of January/early February, if not longer).

You would only be sharing the apartment with one other person, my roommate Linda. Utilities included. Community privileges included. Central AC/Heat. Washer/Dryer in unit. Gas Range, Dishwasher, Microwave. Indoor & Outdoor Dining. Private balcony. Clean, bright, airy, affordable, economical digs. * Great situation for traveling nurses/professionals; foreign exchange students/prospective students, long stay excursions, in-between home searchers, staycations/home-remodel escapes, relocators to the area, traveling artists, writers, musicians, and other unique situations requiring a 1-3 month stay in beautiful San Diego. Will consider one child depending on amount of child-proofing required. * You’ll have a Private bedroom (w/ lock) and spacious closet in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. Room is furnished. The room has en suite access to the shared full bath.

You’ll have full access to share the kitchen, living room, balcony & so on.. You’ll also have your own emptied shelf/drawer space in the kitchen cupboards & fridge/freezer and are welcome to use the oven/stove/microwave/dishwasher as well as most of the kitchen utensils/dinnerware/cookware.

The apartment has a washer and dryer inside the unit, and the paint, wood floors, and carpeting are all fairly new (May ’22).

*Furnished Room will include a comfortable Queen sized bed, small dresser, desk, chair, medicine cabinet, shelves, lamps, and some other little touches (air purifier, salt lamp, oil diffuser, things like that). Additionally, Bed/Bath linens are provided, including goose down comforter w/ duvet; queen mattress is fully encased in allergen-reducing mattress protector. Wood frame is new. Community Amenities include: *Picnic area, playground, BBQs, and *Fitness Center/Gym!!! We do have house pets (mine will remain behind in Linda’s care), and sadly can’t accommodate any more animals, per community rules :( Note: Linda’s teenage son pays an occasional overnight visit.

@Located in a quiet neighborhood in the Linda Vista/Birdland area, a blend of single-family homes, condos, apartments, medical offices, municipal buildings, and commercial businesses. Convenient to freeway access and public transportation. Parking is 1st come/1st serve on-street.

There will be a sublet agreement to sign, plus background check is required :)

**Deposit is for any damages and is refundable minus $175 automatic cleaning fee. This fee will be waived for a 3 month or longer rental. :)

There’s a possibility that my assignment could go longer… meaning the potential for a longer stay is possible.

Linda is a Veterinary technician of 10 years who loves animals and is by no means a home-body. When she’s not working long hours, she can typically be found at the gym, camping, & rock climbing.

I’m Andi, the head tenant and will be available by phone should you need to reach anyone during your stay. I’m in Public Relations management and will be traveling for work until the end of December, maybe longer… :) We’re looking for someone clean, tidy, responsible, and respectful. Linda is friendly and can either respect your space and leave you in solitude and/ or make friendly conversation and answer any questions while she’s running in and out.
