Adams Street

The room, available on November 1st, is 5 min away from the T redline to the Downtown and Cambridge area. It has a partial view of the ocean and its own balcony facing east on the sunniest part of the house, therefore ideal if you want to grow plants. The street noise is mild as you’ll be on the third floor, but this month I’ll have someone install soundproof door and windows for extra comfort at night. The condo has gas heating but also a ductless cooling and heating system. It is boarded by trees from Ronan park, and if you want to go for a run or play basketball, you’ll have the opportunity right around the corner. Fields corner has various restaurants, a target Supermarket, and a friendly coffee shop where you can work or read on a Sunday morning.

I work as a researcher in biology at the Massachusetts General Hospital and will be most of the time at the lab, while my girlfriend works remotely in statistics. I clean the condo (except your room) by doing the floor and the bathroom every weekend, if not every other weekend. So we’re looking for someone who respects other people’s spaces. We’re pretty social and wouldn’t mind if you have someone visiting now and then, but if you plan to have frequent parties or loud television or music, this will not be a good fit.
