It is a fully furnished apartment outside your private bedroom. This quiet and safe area is surrounded by greenery and beautiful homes. It is a very walk and bike-friendly neighborhood, with Ralph’s within walking distance and a few minutes from other grocery stores and the Glendale Galleria. It is right by the 134 freeways and just 10 minutes from the Americana at Brand. The laundry room is in the basement of the building. There is a one-car garage with storage space that can be shared. Street parking is easy to find, there’s just street sweeping Weds & Thurs. Another thing to keep in mind is that we will rotate who buys toilet paper/paper towels or cleaning supplies for the apartment, or buy it in bulk and split the cost. Small emotional support animals that barely shed or do not shed, are quiet, and are potty-trained are welcome. Hope to meet a compatible roommate soon!

Hi there! I am a private teacher, so I mostly work from home unless I go to a student’s home. I use the living room for my online or in-person classroom. Furthermore, I enjoy having a friend over or hosting from time to time. I usually give notice to my roommate, especially when hosting an event, and expect them to do the same. Usually, I’ll go to sleep around 3-5am and wake up around 11am-12pm. I normally shower at night. Vaping nicotine and weed is allowed (I vape nicotine). Smoking cigarettes or weed is NOT permitted because it cannot smell like weed or tobacco in the apartment and fire/ashes are a risk for fire/smoke alarm going off. Please, no addicts to alcohol or to any drugs/pills. I am looking for someone who believes home is sacred and will make that a priority by taking ownership by keeping our home beautiful and clean. This means talking through what needs to be cleaned, how often it needs to be cleaned and agreeing to it together, and creating a cleaning schedule for when these things get cleaned. It is important to me that you are able to share with me if something bothers you and initiate a conversation by being loving, honest, and open to compromise while expressing your boundaries and being willing to listen to the other person’s point of view before making a decision - unless they are doing something that is illegal. Before we meet in person, we must video chat where I will check in to see if you have read through what I have taken the time and energy to post here ;).
