Our roommate moved to SF for a new job, so we have one bedroom available in an awesome rent-stabilized apartment for move-in on August 1st. We’re looking for someone responsible, mature, and fun to share this apartment in the cool Seaport district!

––About the apartment Website here: http://www.254front.com/ Available bedroom is 12’x16’ (biggest bedroom), has a huge window facing the Brooklyn Bridge, and enough space to fit two dressers, a king-sized bed, and a desk. Additionally, there’s a 2’x4’ closet and central air and heat that comes with timers and temperature control.

The apartment was built just five years ago, so there’s stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, bathroom with all new fixtures, and 7 oversized windows (7’x4’). Your costs per month: $1650 rent, $45 for wi-fi and FiOs (we get a discount), and average $35 for utilities (costs fluctuate with seasons, and water/heat already included in rent).

––Building Amenities Gym, laundry, 24-hr doorman, and two rooftops with the best view of the Brooklyn Bridge. We’re located in the Seaport district, so there’s plenty of awesome things to do in the weekends, from the iPic theater to summer festivals in the Seaport.

Close to the Fulton Center as well as the Brooklyn Bridge City Hall subway stations, which connect you to the ACE/JZ/RW/123/456 lines.

––About your roommates I work in finance so my hours are 9am - 1am on most weekdays, and I will usually work weekends so I’m not really in the apartment that often, when I’m not traveling for work. Your other roommate is an awesome vodka rep (yes, that means free vodka and free vodka events), and we live with an adorable hypoallergenic Yorkie who is very friendly, never barks, and well-trained. We think she’s more like a cat than a dog; she basically sleeps 20 hours a day! We’re looking for someone fun, who doesn’t mind going to the movies with us, or grabbing a beer with us every once in a while!

––Credit Check The management company may require a background check and a credit check, and a $100 application fee (mostly to pay for the background check). You’ll need:

  • 2 months’ bank statements
  • 2 years’ tax returns (just first two pages)
  • Credit score, which they’ll pull via your credit check
