4 BR/3.5 BA townhome in a newer construction neighborhood in Frederick. I moved here in April 2020 about a week after the owners closed on the house, so no one lived here before me. I had a female roommate for the first year, and my ex-boyfriend lived with me the second and third years. I’m looking for a roommate again to move in ASAP.

It’s a 3 story townhome, and you would have the 1st floor bedroom and a smaller room on the 3rd floor that could be used as an office (or your bedroom if you prefer). There are full bathrooms on both the first and third floor - you can use either/both. The first floor bathroom is an ensuite, the third floor bathroom is in the hallway next to the bedroom/office. A full size washer and dryer is also on the third floor.

The kitchen has a gas stove top, gas oven, dishwasher and garbage disposal. I have an extremely old couch in the living room that my dog and cats have basically claimed as their own (lol), so I’m happy to get rid of it if you have furniture you’d like to bring.

There is a 2 car garage you can park in, but there is also a driveway and street parking available. Since it’s a townhome, there is only a very small front yard, but there are several larger common areas of the neighborhood, and we’re very close to Pinecliff Park. There is also a neighborhood pool that we have access to in the summer. The HOA organizes food trucks to come to the neighborhood several times a month, which is great! All of the neighbors I’ve met have been friendly, and a majority of them have pets and/or kids.

Rent for the unit itself is $1250 per month. No utilities are included other than trash/recycling. Gas, electric and internet are paid monthly (I currently do not have cable as I don’t watch cable tv) and water is paid quarterly. Utilities are $150 per person per month on average.

I’m a 34 year old sales rep working for a veterinary pharmaceutical company. I’m a cisgender, straight female who drinks socially, does not smoke and does not have children. I do have a 7 year old neutered male hound mix named Gryffin and two 5 year old Scottish Folds named Atlas (neutered male) and Grayland (spayed female) – all are friendly and up to date on vaccines. Gryffin is extremely laid back and only barks if someone comes to the door. The cats will be shy at first but will warm up to you over time. My room/office can get cluttered sometimes, but I try to keep common areas as clean as possible. I consider myself to be polite, caring and respectful with a sarcastic sense of humor.
