About the room
I’m looking for a new roommate for my two bedroom apartment in Capitol Hill. My current roommate is moving out, and so the room will be available July 1.
Rent is $1150 plus utilities which are usually around $100 (that covers internet, gas, water, electricity).
The Alexander is a beautiful building right in the center of the Capitol Hill neighborhood at the cross streets of Olive Way and Bellevue. Shopping, dining, entertainment, and beautiful Seattle landmarks are all within blocks. The unit is a spacious two bedroom apartment with high ceilings and lots of open space. An especially large kitchen makes a great environment for roommates or for the inner chef in you. Washer/dryer in unit.
I’m a professional gay guy, graphic designer, music-lover, movie-goer and all around nice dude working at Amazon. I enjoy having people over from time to time to have dinner and watch movies, etc., but am not one to bring a party back to my place. I’ve had shared living situations for most of my adult life, so I understand how to coexist with roommates quite well. I’m open to making a new friend with my roommate, or to just cohabit peacefully.
Really, the main qualifications are that you can pay rent and don’t make life shitty for me. But ideally you’d be independent, laid back, enjoy a drink (whisky, cider y’all!), conversations, brunch, and generally just chilling out and enjoying Seattle.
So tell me a little about yourself: what you do for fun, what you do to pay the bills, what kind of living situation you’re looking for, and whatever else you want me to know about you. The more you tell me about yourself, the better. Extra points if you include a photo or link to Facebook or Instagram (it’s nice to put a face to a name). Also, sadly, no pets I’m afraid. When replying, please link to social media accounts when possible so I can get a better understanding of who you are (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Cheers!
No pets, sorry. No couples.
